| Maly Hotel is located within the town limits. The hotel is modern design with up to date facilities. The hotel consists of small rooms with hot shower 8$, larger rooms with TV 10-15$, with balcony 20-30$. A kilometer south – west of the market-bus terminal area, towards the airport and the Plain of Jars, the well-run Maly offers 21 comfortable rooms. The larger rooms with TV are on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and hot water is only available in the evenings when the town’s electricity is turn on. A cozy restaurant downstairs has some of the best cooking in town, especially if you order in advance. The hotel’s open log fire is very popular, but you have to ask if you want it to be lit. The building is decorated with many bombs and other explosive ordnance in order to remind everyone of the fierce battle here. By this the hotel makes much depression on tourists staying there.
