     The Saysana Hotel in Vientiane was first opened in 1974 and completed its latest renovation of both guestrooms and restaurant in 2002. As you walk through the entrance of this old-fashioned hotel you are greeted by an smiling member of the friendly staff. Having negotiated the marble stairways to the second floor you will be met with a long sweeping corridor with rooms on either side. The hotel features 36 Laos-styled guestrooms, including singles and doubles, a karaoke and a disco, billiards table, coffee shop, and restaurant. The restaurant serves good food but be warned-the menu is only in Lao.

      All rooms in the hotel are well-equipped with air-con, TV-cable/satellite, bathrooms and showers with hot water, phone, wardrobe, working and writing desk.
